I’m planning on living in Florida for about seven months for a job. How much longer would I have to wait to be able to pay instate tuition?

    To qualify as a Florida resident for tuition purposes. your proof of residence information must be dated twelve months prior to the first day of classes for the term for which you are seeking.

    Proof of purchase of your permanent home in Florida (you live and file federal income taxes from this Florida address).

    Florida Vehicle Registration (twelve months prior to first day of classes for the term for which you are seeking).

    Florida Voter’s Registration (twelve months prior to first day of classes for the term for which you are seeking).

    Professional/Occupational License in Florida.

    Florida Driver’s License (twelve months prior to first day of classes for the term for which you are seeking).

    Full-time, permanent employment in Florida (verified by your employer).

    Purchase of Florida real property for the purpose of living in and maintaining the property as a Florida resident, with no residency status in another state.

    Part-time, permanent employment (excludes summer employment, employment for a few months, etc.).

    Documentation from a Florida financial institution (on accounts for twelve months prior to first day of classes for the term for which you are seeking).
