If there were no more oranges to pick, or lawns to mow.
More serious: if the housing market were to decline so much, that there would be no need for cheap labour.

If you were to create a bill to prohibit illegal aliens to work. (that would affect it deeply). Over 12 million illegals in the United States.
I would think that there could be two major impacts if there was better education and more organization.

The best influence you can have on the Hispanic community in Florida (or anywhere else for that matter), is to remind them that the reason they came to America was to become Americans rather than a segregated sub-culture.
Sure, one should take pride in ones cultural heritage and roots. However, I believe much less time should be devoted to considering what it is to be a part of the Hispanic community and more should be spent thinking about what it is to be an American.
