Florida is not a state that I think of when I am asked about good universities. That being said, the University of Florida, University of Miami and the New School are the only ones I would think of as being good.

Miami is private, so is not really affordable. Florida and the New School are public universities — so are affordable if you are a Florida Resident. Nonresidents would have to pay a lot more.

It sounds like you are not a resident — so I will go with None as my answer.

University of Florida, Florida State U, U of Central Florida (great up-and-coming school), Florida International U is one of my favorites in Miami.

search for Florida Colleges on collegeboard.com they have something called a college match-maker where you fill in how much tuition you want to pay and what location you want and what major you want, and it tells you which colleges are best for you! it’s how i found what college I will be attending in the Fall.

UF, Florida State, USF, UCF, and Flagler College. Flagler College is great and cheap! It has a beautiful campus, and use to be a hotel. It is a private school, and cheap for the quality. UCF and USF are both the same when it comes to academics. My parents both went to USF. Good Luck!
