Can I get a Florida residents fishing license?

Tmith asked: I just moved to Florida from Georgia and I was wondering if I am now considered a resident of Florida? I saw something on the Florida website that said you have to wait six months, but that just doesn’t make sense to me. How do I fish for 6 months?
