Why did Miami have to give the Cavaliers two first round and second round draft picks?

They probably agreed on a sign and trade…………..in order to get lebron a little more money than what he would have gotten if he just signed with the heat…………..the cavs did it because atleast they get something
It would have been a good deal for the Cavs if Lebron informed earlier of his decision. Now, most of the free agents have signed with other teams leaving the Cavs with none.
