It depends on how hard you flap your wings.

You’re going to have to give more information than that. :) To answer the question I’d need specifics, like Type of Aircraft, windspeed heading, altitude, point of departure, and point of arrival. But just going on a roundabout, I’d say about 12 hours. Maybe a bit less.

To fly direct it takes about 6 hours to fly from England to Florida. Any stop overs along the way will add to the time.

Well it takes about two and a half hours to fly from Tampa International to Washington Dulles International and then another nine to get to London Heathrow. Going the other way I would add a half hour to the Heathrow-Dulles flight. If your then flying from Dulles to Orlando instead of Tampa subtract an half hour and if going instead to Miami add about 45 minutes. Hope this helps.

Edit: For the answers above mine 6 hours is if you are following the North Atlantic Jet Stream and are flying directly from A to B. And all my estimates come from flying on a Boeing 777 at 35 thousand feet taking the route straight over the Atlantic fighting the jet stream then flying south over New York, Washington, you get the idea.

There are nonstop flights from England to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Sanford, Florida.

BA, Virgin, and charters such as MyTravel and Thos. Cook serve these routes, mostly from London and Manchester.

The shortest scheduled flight duration, according to the airlines, is 9 hours and 5 minutes Heathrow to Miami (BA). The longest is Virgin to Miami, 9 hours and 50 minutes. Variations in scheduled flight times occur due to type of aircraft used, and airline scheduling more time in order to have a better on-time performance record.

It’s about 9-10 hours if you’re flying nonstop, depending on exactly where in England and where in Florida and a few other things. If you’re flying direct or with a connection then it’s longer depending on where you’ve stopped. (Direct and nonstop flights are NOT the same thing by the way).
